Megan Riccio received Bachelor of Music degrees in 2006, Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in Music Education and Horn Performance, where she was a Chancellor's Talent Scholar and a Friends of Music Scholar. While studying at UMass, Ms. Riccio student taught in the Lexington Public Schools, and was hired as a long-term music substitute in that district immediately following her practicum.

Ms. Riccio has performed Horn in a variety of ensembles including the Texas Music Festival Orchestra in 2004, where she was awarded a fellowship, the Lexington Symphony Orchestra, and the Massachusetts Wind Orchestra, among others in the Boston area.

Ms. Riccio is currently on faculty in the Duxbury Public Schools as a middle and high music educator. She teaches a variety of courses including band, orchestra, and chorus. She has taught horn privately in various locations across Massachusetts including Amherst, Duxbury, Foxboro and Holden. Ms. Riccio is also on faculty at the South Shore Conservatory.
