Jill Noerenberg is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a B.M. in clarinet performance. While working as a clarinet graduate assistant, she earned her Master of Music degree in Music Education. While at Northern Illinois University, she studied clarinet with Mel Warner, Leslie Grimm, and J. Lawrie Bloom of the Chicago Symphony.

In addition to keeping a large private clarinet studio, she travels between two Duxbury schools. At the middle school she works with the 5th, 6th and two 7th and 8th grade bands. At the high school she works with the concert band, and the high school wind ensemble. Her article Students Teaching Students: An After School Private Lesson Program was published last spring in Massachusetts Music News. She conducted the pit orchestra for last years Musical Bye, Bye, Birdie and this years Fiddler on the Roof.

She conducted the Duxbury Wind Ensemble at the Massachusetts Music Educators All-State Conference Concert Hour in 1997, the Middle School Band in 1998, and The South Shore Youth Wind Ensemble in 2000. Ms. Noerenberg is especially proud of three gold medals received two by the High School Wind Ensemble from the Massachusetts Instrumental Conductors Association, and the other by the Junior Jazz Band Band at the International Association of Jazz Educators Festival. She conducted the Northeast Junior District in 2005 and the Southeast District Band this past March.
