Katrina Potts has received her Bachelor of Arts in music, Bachelor of Science in education, and Masters in Music Education from the University of Connecticut. While at UConn, Mrs. Potts focused on both vocal performance and early childhood music education. She brings a diverse approach to her teaching, particularly as a vocal specialist. She began her work at Berklee College of Music as a jazz vocalist, studied the young child’s voice with nationally recognized Children’s Choir Directors, and performed as a soprano soloist in oratorio and opera. She currently sings with the Boston Choral Ensemble, a highly regarded choir in the Boston Area. She hopes to continue to bring a fresh, creative vision to her students in Duxbury.
